After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I exercise at four o’clock am on the mini-trampoline. Then it is time to prepare breakfast. First, I shop for groceries, then I plan the menu. My sister introduces me to the Super Sunburgers that she raves about often. She adapted it, and then I do my own adaption. The recipe can be found in the cookbook, “A Good Cook…Ten Talents”. 4 1/2 cups water; 1/2 cup soy sauce; 1 1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning {dried}; 1 Tbs. plus 1 1/2 tsp. freshly chopped sweet basil; 1 Tbs. plus 1 1/2 tsp. freshly minced garlic; 1 1/2 tsp. finely chopped fresh thyme; 1 1/2 tsp. finely chopped fresh oregano; 1/4 tsp. cayenne, to taste, opt. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts; 1/3 cup raw sunflower seed; 1/2 cup finely chopped celery; 1 small onion, chopped, sauteed; 1/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes; 2 Tbs. garbanzo flour; 4 1/2 cups regular oats. Bring to a boil in a large kettle water, soy sauce and seasonings. Then add walnuts, sunflower seeds, sauteed onion, food yeast and garbanzo flour. Bring to a boil again. Add the regular oats, and mix until evenly blended. Turn off the heat, cover and let cool for 5-10 minutes. Form into 3″ patties with a wide mouth ring and lid for lunch sandwiches and soup, or smaller patties for a breakfast protein. Place on an oiled baking sheet or non-stick, and cover with foil but not tucked under {opt.}, and place in a preheated 400% oven. Bake for 15 minutes on one side, remove the foil and turn over for another 15 minutes until lightly browned and crispy. May stack and freeze.

How about waffles? Try this vegan recipe from my sister.
The best waffle makers can be found from “Chef’s Choice”: Classic waffle maker. The recipe worked perfectly for me, and very delicious and nutritious.

Oat Waffle

2 Tbs. whole wheat flour.

If it needs thinning, add another 1/4 cup of water and whiz in the blender. Place a 1/2 cup of batter onto the middle of the round or square waffle maker, and close the lid until the light turns green. Pure Maple Syrup is delicious on this waffle, or top with your favorite fruit.
